Special Day

Today is kinda doubly special for me, because
a) CHRISTMAS EVE and
b) I've been with my bf for exactly 2 months

I've had my New Year's Resolution planned for a while now and here it is: be less shy. I think it'll be hard but I'm willing to do what it takes. Comment and tell me what your resolution is!

Relief

I have almost all of my Christmas presents ready, I just need to color 4 pictures that I drew and get two things of candy. Just in time too! I feel stupid for waiting this long, but I think I'm going to make it!

2 nights ago 1 out of my 5 best friends, Maddy spent the night. We stayed up until like 1 am, talking about who we shipped different people at our school with.

I finally got the courage to call my boyfriend that night, and we talked for like 2 hours. Mostly it was us talking smack to each other while we played internet games and tried to beat the other's high score. Some of the games were a lot harder than others, but I'm addicted to this one called Cube Field, even though it gives me a headache. Has anyone else played it?

We were going to go to the mall yesterday, but it snowed like 4 inches so my mom decided not to. She said we might go today or tomorrow though, so I've got my fingers crossed! It's been too long since I've been to the mall.

Sleepy

Yesterday, we frosted cookies at my grandma and grandpa's! It was really fun, except for the fact we didn't get home until 11:22. My dad was helping my grandparents set up their new computer. I don't know much more, because I fell asleep.

So yesterday was our last day of school of the year, we don't have school anymore until Jan. 2! I've got a big social studies assignment due that day; it's 200 points. We have to do a report and build something that has to do with Ancient Rome, Greece, or Egypt. I'm doing mine on the Olympians, and I'm building a trident because Poseidon is my favorite. I've got it started, it's just a matter of finishing. I know how I'm going to paint it and stuff, I just thought of that this morning.

Some time today, I'm going to:
a) clean my room (I might hang up some Christmas lights around my window)
b) plan outfits for when we go back to school
I'd also like to talk to my parents about dying the tips of my hair hot pink, and I need to get a new winter coat. The zipper broke :( I want to get maybe a neon pink or blue one. There's some cute ones at Justice, but I don't know how long they'll fit me. Walmart didn't really have that many I liked, and the ones I did were too thin.

So Excited!

Yesterday, I finally achieved my goal. I had been kind of badgering my parents about getting One Direction tickets for a few weeks, and they finally gave in yesterday! Total, it was about $203 a ticket, which is more than I really wanted to pay, but I was desperate, so I agreed. I don't think getting the money for the ticket will be a problem, it's getting enough money for the shopping trip next year that I'm worried about. It obviously has to be a decent amount, otherwise there's really no point in going, and that'd just stink like a skunk. So, I need your guys' help. Could you comment and tell me ways you think would work to make money? I'm accepting everything!!!

I'm going to go over to my grandmother's (we call her Grammy, just for future reference) today to decorate her Christmas tree with my two siblings! I don't know what time, but today. Maybe we'll go to the mall too; I haven't been shopping since Black Friday. I know my sister talked to my dad about taking us Christmas shopping this weekend, so that might happen too. I still need to get a present for my dad, Grammy, my dad's parents, and 2 of my 5 best friends.

I didn't know what else to put for the title, so I just went with that. I was kind of in a bad mood all day today, and since homeroom, I've kind of been on edge for no reason. Not paranoid, just...anxious. I don't believe in Friday the 13th, or most of the other superstitions.

My brother and my nephew (his mom, my sister, is 22) are both sitting next to me with an iPad and my mom's old phone, and they've both got the volume up. I'm going crazy! It doesn't help that my brother keeps shifting and elbowing me in the chest.

School went ok today, this girl REALLLLLY got on my nerves today. So did this other boy, but that's the norm. I'm not going to go into detail, but I'm #donewiththeirtrash. <----- Inside joke with one of my 5 best friends, Maddy. We built roller coasters in science, that's been the main thing we've been doing this week. It's basically just to learn about potential and kinetic energy. Math is really hard to explain right now, but the concept is really easy to grasp, for me at least.

Need Your Help! Please Read & Comment!!

Ok so I'm turning to you guys for advice, because I know you all are amazing people.

So I've been going out with this guy for 1 month and 16 days, and I've only spoken to him maybe 3 times since then. He was in my class in 5th grade, and I've liked him since then. But the thing is, I could talk to him for hours without ANY awkwardness at all. But now I can't even have a 30 second conversation without shattering the Awkward-Meter. My friends keep telling me to talk to him, and I really want to, it's just that I'm really shy and it's really hard to talk to him. He's shy too, and we're basically just going to get nowhere. Please help I'm seriously accepting anything. Don't say anything like, "Just buck up and talk to him." That's not helpful AT ALL. I've only got 2 classes with him, and if I could I'd talk to him every single day, all through the classes. But I can't, partially because we'd both get in trouble and mostly because I clam up and don't say anything. And when I do talk to him, I get nervous and either leave, say stupid stuff, or turn around and quit talking. I'm begging you!!!

So I'm kinda bummed out right now. I got Seventeen and teenVogue, and the most recent ones are Dec/Jan issues. THAT MEANS NO NEW MAGAZINES UNTIL FEBRUARY. Uggggggghhhhh. Also, I lost the most recent issue of teenVogue. cross your fingers I find it!

Wow that makes me seem like some clingy, whiny little girl, doesn't it. I'm sorry, I'm not usually like this!!

So this Thursday, I've got this presentation thingy at school, and I have to give a speech. Well, you can imagine how that's going to go. I've gotten better about raising my volume, but I lean to the left, fiddle with stuff, and swing my foot. I get nervous talking to people, and I hate it.

We put up our Christmas tree I think Sunday night! It's so pretty, especially when it's lit up. I'm making most of my gifts this year, so I can continue saving for shtuff.

Excited!!!

So I'm really excited for tomorrow, which is Friday. It's the end of the week, duh, but my godparents are coming back for the weekend! We've got a surprise winter thing going on on Saturday, which I'll do a post about afterwards. It's kind of a little kids thing, and I'm a teenager but still excited. WHO CARES THOUGH I'M STILL A CHILD IN SOME WAYS ON THE INSIDE. YOU KNOW MY NAME NOT MY STORY.

So one of my best friends is shunning me. Yesterday in science, I wouldn't let her copy off my paper, and then her and one of my other friends have been ignoring me since. Apparently it's just a joke but they mad it seem real. I'm not joking, whenever I would say something, they'd be like, "Do you hear something?" or "Ugh that darn wind, I think there's a draft in here!" And now my best friend isn't answering my texts so I don't know if she's still ignoring me or just doesn't have her phone. Hopefully she isn't ignoring me tomorrow!!

I'm still obsessed with Popular Song. I think my favorite part is either the lyrics, the ending to the music video, OR MIKA'S SMOLDER-SMIRK. It's so creepy but kind of attractive. I know that sounds creepy, but I don't know how else to word it. I don't have a crush on him, I don't get celebrity crushes though, idk why. My first, and only celebrity crush was Daniel Radcliffe, from the time I was 8 until the time I was 10.

I've got a really bad cough right now :( It's not a cold or pneumonia, but I've had it for maybe 2 days now? I'm not sure, I'm sure it'll blow over soon.

Short Post Today

So this post is going to be pretty short, but I'm going to an awards ceremony soon. It's for our GPA's last year. I don't really want to go, but my grandparents seemed kind of excited about it, so I'm going.

Math was so horrible today. I thought I had the right answer so I raised my hand (twice) but both times I had the answers wrong. Ugh talk about feeling stupid. Everything else is going pretty good, I though my literacy homework would take forever to do, but I actually got it done in like 10 minutes, just in time to DECORATE MY GRANDMA AND GRANDPA'S CHRISTMAS TREE!!! It was really fun, now I can't wait to decorate ours!!

So the title is kinda weird, right? I made that word up. Girlie-scaph-igus means basically being a girly girl, and knowing what makes you a girly girl and why. I wrote about this during math today, and I've kinda been thinking about it all day. I don't really want to go into depth about it now, because I've got other stuff to talk about.

I'm reading The Westing Game in literacy, and I surprised myself by actually being able to follow along this time! I haven't read it since 6th grade though, so I think that plays a big part. My favorite character is Turtle, I can relate to her. I don't like Grace very much though.

My sister's orchestra concert is tonight! I'm not going though, because A Charlie Brown Christmas is on. I love me some Christmas specials!

Ok so I'm totally addicted to Popular Song right now. IDEK why, I don't listen to either MIKA or Ariana Grande that much. The ending is kinda creepy though; they're smashing the popular people, whom they turned to stone.

I'm on the teenVogue YouTube channel, and I'm watching How To Redecorate Your Room On A Budget. I think it'll be really useful.

BLACK FRIDAY SHOPPING!!

So I know I didn't to a post yesterday, but I was shopping for 16 hours, and I spent the night at my grandma's. We went to 8 stores at the mall, and I believe 3 other ones. I don't want to list them because I'm tired and lazy right now. I didn't buy anything, surprisingly, except a keychain for my friend. I forgot to look at the makeup, and if I did remember, they didn't have any I liked or it was too expensive. My mom did get me an early present of a lip gloss from Bath and Body Works, though, I'm really excited for that.

US Cellular recently started carrying iPhones, and to promote them, they were selling them on sale on Black Friday. THEY WERE A PENNY. ONE. CENT. I got mad because I couldn't get one, because I can't upgrade until July. By then, they'll be around their original price of $400 or $500. Ugh.

I was wearing my boots, from Justice, and by the end of the 16 hours, my heels were killing me. I don't know why, maybe it's because the soles are so solid? They're better now though, I just needed to sleep it off.

Turkey Day :)

Hello, and Happy Thanksgiving! I just got back from my aunt's a little while ago, because my brother got sick. I think it may have just been overeating though. The Oreo salad was amazing, just like I knew it would be!!! I spent the night at my older sister's apartment with her girlfriend's little sister. I was the first to fall asleep, as always! Of course, I woke up at 4:00, and was all alone until about 6 or 7 when my sister and the other girl woke up. After that, we watched the One Direction movie (All For One) until it was time to go. We dropped the other girl off, then went to get my nephew. Next we went back to the apartment, got ready, and went to my aunt's!

I've been begging to go shopping at like 4 am, because that just seems awesome (major adrenaline rush), but she said they'd only do that if they found something amazing. Cross your fingers they do!! I've only got like $15, but I don't plan on buying presents. It's not because I've got a cold heart, I'm making most of my gifts this year. My dad owes me & my sister like 2 weeks of allowance, so I'm looking at about $20! And my grandma is going to give me her pop cans, and possibly my older sister. So I'll place my final guess at my Black Friday shopping money at $25. Very good, very good.  At West Music, if you buy a silver-capped trumpet with gold accents, you get a FLUGLEHORN for $1. The only reason I want the fluglehorn (however you spell it) is because of the name, I'm really a flute player. Younker's, I know, is having a good sale, and I saw some coupons at Jo Ann Fabric's. When we look though ads, it's mostly wait until you see a store you like and then wait for someone to be done with it. There's always like 3 sets of ads though so it's usually not a long wait. Then we leave, shop, and go home! I really hope there's a lot of people, I think that'd be so cool. Last year, the stores were basically empty. My family thinks I'm crazy for wanting there to be a lot of people, but hey, this is only my second time Black Friday shopping. It's a rite of passage; you can't go Black Friday shopping until you turn 12. I think I'm a pretty good shopper: I don't usually complain until shopping for a couple hours without food or rest breaks, and I'm actually not that bad about asking for stuff.

So that's really all I have to write about now, maybe I'll do another post later!Iffy though, because there's going to be a lot of people here, with 4 little kids, 4 adults, and 2 teens. Full house!

So I was at Walmart with my dad, and I'm looking at the magazines by the checkout because that is how I roll. So I look, and I see a magazine out of the ordinary: Seventeen. I had literally JUST looked at the magazine section and the didn't have it. But this one was wrapped up in plastic, probably to protect the gift the people gave you. Guess what the gift was A ONE DIRECTION POSTER WOOP WOOP. Ok so I love One Direction and if you can't respect me for that then you don't deserve me. I hung that up, and I read the magazine. It's got mini-interviews with the boys, and I couldn't find Niall or Zayn. So I look at the other poster (yes, I got two!!) and both of them are on the back of the poster. I had already torn it out, because it's a group picture. I have issues with showing favoritism, But I have the poster with JUST Louis, because that's the poster the magazine came with. Trust me, I don't have a favorite, or a least favorite.

This is going to be really braggy, but I need to say this. My eyelashes look AMAZING today. Sometimes my mascara clumps really bad and there's nothing I can do to change it. Today though, I took a shower, which "resets" them and brings them back to their original state. If I'm really careful, they turn out like they did today! My left eye always looks better though, but that's because I'm right handed.

I need you guys' help. I've been saving up for a shopping trip with my cousin right? Well, I want to get some UGG boots for high school. I've got $100 saved up now. The ones I want are $155, so here's my plan. I'll keep saving, then buy them DURING the shopping trip with my cousin! Ohmigosh I feel so smart.

Deletion

I deleted my Stories page. I kinda didn't want to, but I wasn't doing anything with it and it just kinda sat there, so I got rid of it! I want to add pages to my blog to make the site more interesting, but I don't have any ideas. Comment for ideas?

Thanksgiving is this Thursday, holy cow! I'm going to go down to my aunt's, and my godmother, godfather, and their 2 kids (my godcousins, just in case I mention them in the future) are going to spend the night here Wednesday, Thursday, and probably Friday night. I'm not sure what day they're leaving, but then again, I usually never am until they're packing their stuff.

My mom or older sister always makes Oreo Salad, and oh my gosh I live for that stuff. It's a regular dish at Thanksgiving and Christmas, and we've mixed up the recipe a few times but it wasn't as good. After we finish cooking the food and eat, the kids play and then we all bring out the Black Friday ads. I'm not part of that circle now, because I've reached the age that I can go B.F. shopping now. There've been times where the women have left at 4, but that depends on if there's a lot of stuff they want to buy. I'm not going to do a lot of shopping, because I plant on making most of my gifts, but I need to buy some magazines, makeup possibly, and of course little presents for my mom, dad, siblings, etc. Just immediate family.

So I'm on this website with ideas what to blog about. Well then. I'm not in cheer, I'm NOT social (very shy), and I have a blog about clothes and makeup. As most of my readers know, this blog is about anything and everything, nothing in particular. I took a quiz, and it said I should blog about "Life". Appropriate, considering that's what I do.

School

I am honestly surprised that Thanksgiving is next week. I think I know what I'm going to wear to my aunt's, but I'm honestly not sure.

I have so much homework, but I'm just going to work on it a little bit at a time. Here's what I have to do:
Type things to be printed for an ELP poster. Due in December, but I have a lot to do.
Read the Westing Game and answer questions. Due Monday, but I forgot the questions. Whoops.
Get donations for a walk a thon. Money due Monday. I walked 16 laps in two days, so I'm going to have to remember to tell people that if they pay per lap. I wasn't able to ask people before AFTER the walking happen, but I have a feeling most of the donations are going to be one-time.

Enough about school now, I'm going to talk about happy stuff. I stayed until 9 o'clock (Central Time) today, and I'm on my mom's laptop in my room right now. I think today's just going to be a lazy day. I'm sorry for the boring and short post, but I'm going to go do some homework. Love you all!

Happenings

I'm kind of freaking out right now. Because of the gas leak, I couldn't go back in the classroom and grab my homework folder. That had homework for THREE classes. One assignment is due Friday, and one is a really important long-term one I want to get started on. Speaking of the long-term one, which is for ELP, I'd like to do something. Thank you to all of those people who took my survey. You were such a big help you have no idea. I LOVE YOU ALL!!!

My friend is coming over to spend the night on Wednesday!! Her parents are going to a concert and don't want her being home alone (they live in kind of a bad neighborhood) so she's coming over here. Her and my twin sister share a lot of the same interests, and I know I'm going to be the third wheel. They have so much more in common then my friend and I do and they're going to hog the computer if my mom brings it home. Please help me guyssssss. 

I'm taking a babysitting class on the Red Cross website, and so far it's pretty cool! I need to finish one more section and then it's the final test. My parents said I could babysit without it, but if it would help my confidence then they'd pay the $25. It's worth it though, I have learned a bunch. I made a babysitting binder and I have a notebook to write stuff down in and everything. I really love little kids, and I've been told I could run my own daycare. I don't think I would want to though, because I've got other dreams and it'd be really loud and I wouldn't be able to concentrate. I'll just stay with the small business, if you don't mind!

So I'm thinking about how Bethany Mota is getting her own clothing line, and how one of my BFFs is thinking about becoming a YouTuber. That's something I would really like to do, but how can I when my parents won't let me show my face online? Maybe I can convince them somehow, like if I wore a paper bag over my head whenever I filmed. Or possibly a mask. Or maybe for my next birthday I could wish for the ability to make and post YouTube videos. And also a Facebook. I'm thinking of starting a blog just dedicated to clothes and makeup, but still keeping this one. What do you guys think??

It's A Zoo

I'm at my house right now and my brother and my nephew are being so LOUD. My brother is whistling and my nephew was playing with this fake, plastic drill. There was a gas leak at school today and we got let out 10 minutes early. At first we smelled rotten eggs but they said it was broccoli casserole. WHAT. Then we smelled real gas and went to the library. The smell followed us, so we evacuated. Since it was so close to the end of the day, we didn't go to our alternate site, we just went hoe. Keep in mind, it was 10 minutes early. I didn't have time to grab my homework folder (which majorly stinks), but I did grab my flute and band stuff. That was only because they told us to go to our lockers, and my band stuff was right on top or my coat and backpack. One of my BFF's lost her iPod at school, and the other just got back from a cruise! She went to Florida, Haiti, Jamaica, and some other country. I'm so jealous omg.

Nooooooooo

Ugh I just realized tomorrow is Monday!! No! I won't let it! I used to really love school, but now I'm just kinda...eh. So does anyone watch Grey's Anatomy? I'm watching the one with Code Black right now, and I think it's one of the best ones I've seen so far. I watch TV dhows on Netflix, because then I don't have to worry about missing episodes. My mom has them all on DVD, but I'm lazy and don't like taking the time to put in the DVD's and switch them. Plus, Netflix is unlimited movies and TV for $8 a month, so I want to take advantage of that. Addison is really starting to grow on me to be honest. :)

When I was younger, I hated pink and anything girly. I don't remember exactly when it happened, but now pink is my favorite color and I'm one of the girly girls you hear about. Well, not exactly. I'm not afraid to break a nail (unless it hurts), or get my clothes dirty (kind of depends on what clothes though) and basically do some guy stuff.

Hey I just remembered that today my mom is probably going to take my brother, my twin sister and I to the mall!! She needs to get her nails done, and while she's doing that, the chiddlers will go to the play area. After that, we will walk around and look at stuff.

School Project

So I have to do a survey for a school thing, and it's going really great! I need to get 25 more responses by Monday, and I've only got like 8. I'm asking like everyone in my contacts though so it should work out! Yesterday, 2 of my friends started screaming at me because I told them I didn't like Starbucks. Before you all start freaking out, listen to WHY I don't like it.
a) I hate coffee in general
b) I had their hot chocolate, but it was too sweet. I have a sensitive stomach, cause by gerd. Comment to know more about that, if you want.
So yeah, that kind of irritated me. Why is it any of their business what I like to drink??

Ugh I'm getting excited for Black Friday again. Comment and tell me what stores you're going to, if you're going! I think today I might work on getting my "business" out there. Just to family friends, of course. Last week, my older sister, my twin sister, my older sister's girlfriend and her younger sister all went to the mall. It was really fun, because since my older sister moved out, I haven't seen her that much and I kind of miss her. Maybe I'll see if she wants to do anything later on! She works though, so that might be kind of difficult. Well she's moving into her apartment today, so that won't work.

I am proud to say that I have finally got like 9/10 of my band assignment down! It's probably the hardest one I've have all year, and I'm only stuck on part B of a duet. My goal is to practice 200 minutes a week, and I'm at like 180 or something. My mom is sleeping right now, so of course I can't practice when I'm in the mood to. Oh well, that's just something I'm going  to have to deal with!

I'm really shy, in person, and kind of chatting online too, like in Google Hangouts. Being shy kind of stinks, so I'm going to try to break out of my shell. It's hard though, because I'm scared I'm going to annoy people. I'm sure it'll come in time. IDK why I'm like this, I think I have been since I was little.

I did a vlog earlier, but I'm unable to post it on my blog. My parents won't let me because of the whole Internet safety thing. Maybe I can see about convincing them to let me to slogs, sound blogs. I'd just record me saying stuff and then upload it! My face wouldn't be shown and you can't track someone using their voice: it's the perfect compromise! I'm really sorry I keep jumping from topic to topic, I just type it as I think it! That's all for today, bye lovelies!

Happiness

I'm at my grandma and grandpa's right now, thinking about my cousin's blog. I'm not going to put the web address on her for privacy reasons, but she does a lot of blogging about food she makes with her friends. So far, there've been 2 recipes I can think of right now that I think are AMAZING. One is this recipe for spaghetti bread, and one is grilled cheese pull-apart rolls. I'm going to try and convince my grandma to at least make the rolls. She probably will I think, but we won't make them for a while.

What are you all doing for the holidays? I frost cookies at my grandma's house every year with the rest of my family, and we have dinner at either my grandma and grandpa's or my house. This Thanksgiving is actually going to be at my aunt's this year, which we did last year. It was really fun, especially the part when we looked at Black Friday sales. That year I think was my favorite because it was the first year I actually got to go with them. Two more traditions I like are going around to look at holiday lights and having a mini-Christmas at my house (opening presents from Mom, Dad and Santa, eating candy from stockings, etc...). After that, we go over to my grandparents' house, or get ready for everyone to come over to our place.

I know I'm kind of jumping from topic to topic, but they just fall out of my brain and start dancing around on the keyboard. Sorry if it's annoying :(

If any of you are looking for a good book, I recommend QUARENTINE by Lex Thomas. It's about this high school who gets infected with a deadly disease (that infects them unless they can get away) as soon as they graduate high school. The government basically barricades the students from their families, and high school becomes more dangerous than before. Everyone joins a "gang" to protect and be protected, and they fight to the death...over food. Which is precious, because I think food only is dropped once a week, maybe a day I'm not sure. It's just too much to explain, but YOU SHOULD ALL READ IT FOR SURE please do!!!

Drama

So I'm kind of in a fight with one of my ex-friends. I'm not going to go into real deep detail, but here's the gist: I got tired of her making up stuff about me and telling people, or telling people things she knew I didn't want to be told, so I broke off my friendship. She's trying to get me to be friends with her again, but I'm not doing that a second time. Now let's talk about happy stuff!

We got a new piece of music to learn in band, Here Comes Santa Claus. It's really cool-sounding, but kind of hard. It's for this band festival a couple grades of band go to. Even though it's not until January, I'm super excited! (In case I haven't said anything, I play flute.) We're doing a winter concert in December too, but that's just for the students, no parents or anything. Our open-to-the-public concert is in January, a little bit before the festival. 

I am now able to watch Grey's Anatomy! This is kind of a big thing because I haven't been able to since I was too young to understand what was going on. Comment and tell me what shows you like to watch!

Black Friday!

Ok so I know it's early, but I just want to say that I am REALLY excited for Black Friday! Before you guys start thinking how cruel I am, let me finish! I'm not going to buy and Christmas gifts. Key word: Buy. I'm going to MAKE them instead! I haven't decided what I'm going to make yet, but if you guys have any ideas comment! I haven't given any real thought to what I'm going to buy, I guess I'm just going to make sure I don't spend, like, any money. I am going to spend $5 this Friday though, to get in to a dance. That's it, because I want to have enough money maybe to buy some EOS/Baby Lips, possibly clothes, and OF COURSE Seventeen and teenVogue! I have to go so my sister can get on the computer, ttyl!

HAD's

So for those of you who have read Alphas by Lisi Harrison, you'll know what HAD's are. But if you don't, that's ok. HAD's are Hopes and Dreams. I've readjusted my biggest one. It was to get in to Julliard and become a famous flute player. I still want to be a famous flutist, but at a different school. I want to study at the Manhattan School of Music. I think it'd be really cool to live in New York, but I've got a long time to think about it. Comment and tell me what college you want to go to!

So a while ago, I think I did a post talking about a shopping trip I wanted to plan with my cousin, Sam. I've got almost a hundred dollars saved up, and by the time June or July rolls around, I should have maybe $150! That is so much better than I expected- do you realize how far $50 can go??? Probably by then I won't be able to fit in anything at Justice, (one of my fave clothing stores) which'll be disappointing but oh well. NEW SHOES

So last night, I went shopping with my mom and sister! I love Justice, even though it's starting to get too small for me. Anyway, I got a bunch of solid colored t-shirts to wear over my school polos, which was awesome because instead of being 40% off like usual, it was 50%!! So I was going to get a knit sweater, but then I asked my mom if I could get a pair of boots instead. And she let me!! But I got a size too small, so we exchanged them tonight and got a bigger size. It's not supposed to rain, so I'm going to wear them tomorrow. I had an outfit planned for today, but since I couldn't wear my boots I didn't wear the outfit. And since I wore pink today, I can't wear it for the rest of the week. But I'm going to wear a. Blue polo and orange t shirt instead of pink and orange. My pants will be tan, as will my boots. I'm so excited for tomorrow omg! I have to go, hopefully I'll do a post tomorrow!

So yesterday my dad let me go on YouTube on his computer to watch the YT videos I told you guys about a while ago! I don't remember which ones I liked best but I know I'm going to watch more Talia Castellano and Bethany Mota! Today at 3:30 I'm going to my school for the re-opening of the observatory! There's an astronomy club, which I'm thinking about joining next year. Maybe I'll try out for volleyball too. I've really been working on cleaning my room; I've cleaned off my windowsill, dresser, desk and bookshelf! I just need to finish one more thing, (don't know how to describe it) under my bed, and the vacuum! I would like to eventually rearrange my furniture, and I've got that all planned out, where I want everything.

Sorry about the stupid post title but I think it's a tiny bit funny. So why did I title this post that? Because my dad is possibly going to take me and my twin sister to look at bikes again today! My Magazines

So I told you how I would tell you guys about my magazines, I'm following up on that promise! I think I definitely like Seventeen better, but they're both amazing! They've got all these beauty tips and celebrity stuff. It said long, supersized coats were "in" but I really doubt that. Comment and let me know what you think! A Few Things

So first, I watched World War Z. If you don't like scary movies then DO NOT watch it. I won't say anymore, but I mean it- don't. Second of all, I'm really sorry I haven't posted! My mom hasn't brought her computer home (not complaining) and it's super hard to do this on the iPad, until now! I'm on the blogger app. ANYWAY I bought two magazines at the store today. teenVogue and Seventeen. They're both way cool, but I think I like Seventeen better. They're both amazing though! One of them has an article on how to earn money, and a little bit below it says, "Those 1D tickets won't pay for themselves!" I laughed so hard at that omg. Also, I got two free 15% off coupons to aeropostale, which I'm going to beg my mom to take me to. I'm going to go read them more in detail, I'll do more about it later!

A New Discovery

So I was on the iPad, on Pinterest, and I found a board of someone I follow. It's titled Babysitting and Pet-sitting, so I decided to check it out! Well I did and it took me to this awesome blog that had a lot of babysitting information. I really like that part because I hope to babysit maybe this December, so that's going to be really helpful! That's my discovery just in case you didn't know I know not everyone likes babysitting so that would be boring to them but now to me! :) Today my mom is going to Des Moines with her friend, to look at her friend's wedding dress. I'm going to have to babysit my brother with my twin sister, but I'm hopefully going to get a few things done. Here's my agenda:

• Finish cleaning room
• Put dishes in dishwasher
• Do a load or two of dishes with my sister
• Start cleaning basement
• Change guinea pig bedding

So that's everything I want to accomplish, I'm probably going to start on that list soon. Later, I'll tell you what I've been able to cross off the list!

Apology

I'm really sorry I haven't posted for a few days, it's just that I've been really busy. How have you all been? I finished my Social Studies assignment just now, and now I've got a homework-free weekend! I'm going to clean my room though, and possibly get a new bike! That's my birthday present from my parents- a bike. There's this old-fashioned Schwinn that I really want, but if I can't get that one, then there's a couple others I really like too. Eventually, my goal is to be able to ride my bike all the way to my friend's house, and my cousin's. They live kind of far away so it'll be hard, but I think it will be worth the effort. Maybe I can even ride it to school! I have a daily routine, and I don't like having it disrupted, so that'll be one of the harder things. Also, I saw a Scholastic post/update thing, and it was a blog thingy through Scholastic, I looked at it, and it's really cool! I haven't been through the whole thing, but I recommend it for everyone, boy or girl!

Off To See the School

I'm going to school soon, but I wanted to do a post today, even if it is a short one. Today in band, I might get a candy bat! Our band teachers challenged us that if we could play the chromatic scale from memory, without messing up, then we got a candy bar of our choice! I did it on my birthday, but I think I'm going to get the candy bar today. He said that he wanted to wait until we had more people earning them before he got them, so he didn't have to make a ton of trips to Walgreens. Keep in mind there's like 70 kids in my band class. I'll tell you guys tonight if I got the candy bar!

So you know how my mom has lupus? Well, I was thinking about planning a Lupus Awareness thingy. I don't know if I should call it celebration or party, but it'd be in a public place that's free to use- I don't have the kind of money needed to rent out a place. I've already got some of it planned, but now I need to plan the details, which means a ton of lists! Hahaha but anyway, thank you! Lupus

So a while back I said I would do a post about lupus and here it is! It's in purple because that's the color for lupus. So basically what lupus is is a disease that makes your body produce antibodies to kind of fight off stuff that you need, like tissue, and that causes pain and inflammation in your joints. My mom's face gets red but I guess that's really common with lupus. On Glee where Sue Sylvester can't bend over a bucket of Vamoose- that's not lupus. NOT NOT NOT NOT. Another Random Post :)

I'm not really sure what this post is going to be about, I'll just write as the words come to me :) TODAY IN BAND I HAD THE FIRST VERBAL CONVERSATION ALL YEAR WITH THE GUY I LIKE YAYAYAYAYAYAY I AM SO HAPPY RIGHT NOW. In band, we have this thingy called the chromstic scale, and I played it from memory without messing up,so the teachers are going to buy my a candy bar! I got Cadbary (I don't think I spelled it right #sorrynotsorry) which is a British chocolate. The band teaches haven't gotten them yet because they're waiting for more people, but I'll let you guys know when I do get it!! Love you all!

MISS AMERICA

As I am typing, THE MISS AMERICA PAGEANT JUST STARTED OH YEAH BET YOUR GUMMY BEARS I'M GLUED TO THE TV. I can't wait to see Miss Iowa! I was going to post a video of it, but my TV isn't loud enough and if I turned it up I'd get in trouble. I'm so happy I get to watch it for an hour yay! My Post

This isn't going to really be about any specific thing, just a couple stories. I'm going to Cattle Congress (A big fair they have every year) tomorrow instead of the long wedding service. But I'll still go to the reception, which is what I'm really looking forward to! At the fair though, if none of my friends can come, it'll just be my sister's friend. If she can't come though, it'll still be fun, just because that's the way NCC is. (National Cattle Congress) At the wedding reception, I plan to dance because I want to start breaking out of my comfort zone and dancing in front of people is one of those things that isn't in my comfort zone. I'll take pictures and possibly upload them here!

I went to Iowa City today for my mom's lupus treatment today. It takes a while and we're not allowed to stay in the hospital where she gets it done, so we went to the nearby mall! I went to forever 21, rue 21, Vanity, and Maurice's. I went to more but they're not important to what I'm saying now. I saw more things I like within the first 30 seconds of walking into Vanity than in rue and forever combined! It was the same with Maurice's. I just find that funny because a lot of girls my age shop at rue and forever but I'm liking the stores meant for adults. However, we went to Aeropastle. I SAW SO MANY THINGS I ABSOLUTELY LOVE BUT THEY WERE TOO EXPENSIVE UGHHHH.  So anyway, because of all the wonderful things I saw, I'm saving up to go on a shopping spree!

My Band Story

So this is a post I've been trying to convince myself to not post, but I finally am. I don't like the entire flute section in the school band! They're all snotty, prissy brats. Today for example, the band teacher was saying that the flutes were going too fast. So the girl I sit next to, (we'll call her 0) turned her head around, and said just really snotty stuff. I'm not allowed to post it because apparently I could get in trouble for cyber bullying (I don't understand how but whatever) This is the kind of stuff they do- think they're better than everybody else and don't let anyone have a say in anything- it's their way or the highway. The whole flute section is like that- I've got at least one friend in trumpet, french horn, clarinet, alto saxophone, trombone, tenor saxophone, oboe, and percussion. That's only tuba, baritone, bass clarinet, bassoon and baritone saxophone. The next time 0 says something like that, I'm going to stand up to her! I'll probably be attacked by 2 or 3 other girls right away, and maybe a few later, but you know what? I really couldn't care less. I'm tired of having people walk all over me while they destroy everybody for no good reason. When they try to destroy me, like a wrecking ball, they're going to hit a wall of diamond- indestructible. I want to become a better flutist than 0. It's kind of stupid, and maybe I don't have my heart set in the right place. But I want to show her that you don't have to be like her to be the best at something. By "be like her" I mean the snotty, rude, mean, hateful, dramatic popular girls. How am I going to do this? I'm going to pay for my own private lessons, which I'm currently working on, and I'll just practice a whole bunch! We don't do first chair or anything, that's not till high school. I'm in band geek mode, so now I need to talk about all things band, sorry. 

My older sister played flute from grade school to high school, and then stopped :( Anyway, when I started 5th grade, I was in band, and I had a free flute, so we just decided to play that instead of spending a ton of money on an instrument! I'm not complaining, I love flute so much, I'm glad I stuck with that. Anyway, she also played piccolo in high school, and once I find that, I want to work on learning that, because I want to play that in high school too. It takes so much more air though, it's crazy. Better start learning now! I love band so much, it's probably my favorite part of the school day. If they tried to take away band, the should expect me to put up a fight- petitions, protests, attending school board meetings, everything. I'm not going to let my band get away- my future literally depends on it. I want to be a flutist. So that's my band post, there'll probably be more, but that's it for now! Love you!

School Today

I hate my entire flute section, let me start off with that. They're all these snobby, rude prissy girls who think they're better than everybody. When the teacher says to pick what part you want to play except you can't have the same part as the person you're next to, this girl automatically decided what parts out whole row was playing. I literally have friends in every other instrument except oboe, tuba/baritone, bassoon, and bass clarinet.Well guys I didn't get to go see This Is Us this weekend, but maybe next weekend. Also I didn't get to go to the mall after Applebee's, but I was fine with that because my stomach really hurt from eating too much and then 2 hours later I still had a stomach ache. I probably won't get to see it this weekend because Friday my mom has a lupus treatment (I'll do a post dedicated to lupus later, I pinkie promise) and Saturday is my cousin's wedding! Then Sunday is CAAAAATTLE CONGRESS WOOP WOOP. I hate rodeos though I'm always scared someone is going to get hurt. So the link I have is just something I think every girl should read not matter what her self esteem level is. I love it so much. I think there's a language issue, but it's very mild, I promise.

A Few Random Things

I'm going out to dinner to celebrate my sister's 22nd birthday today! Yay! My mom is going ot try and steer her towards Applebee's, but the choice is ultimately my sister's. Her birthday was two days ago, but she had plans with some of her friends, so we didn't celebrate then. Hopefully, depending on when we get done eating, we'll have time to nip into the mall afterwards! They're right next to each other, but we probably won't, because I've got school tomorrow and everything. I might not post every day Monday through Friday, but I most likely will Saturdays and Sundays. Has anyone seen This Is Us? I asked my mom to take us to see it last Friday, and she said maybe we would this weekend. We didn't yesterday, and probably won't today. Maybe this weekend! I'm going to be really good and do a lot of dishes and cleaning then I can be like, *baby voice* "Wook Mommy I did chowes NOW CAN WE PLEASE GO SEE THIS IS US?!?!?!" Hahaha no it won't be like that but yeah that's my plan! On my Pinterest, there's been a lot of pins about the movie, but I look on the opposite side of the screen, I don't want any spoilers. If I do see the movie, I'll let you know either right when I get home or the day after!

They're about relationships, school, home life, anything. JGT apply to girls, usually teenagers, and they're about relationships, shopping, clothes, a lot of stuff. I just started MTH today, so there aren't that many pins, but the pins that are on there are mostly bedrooms. As the board gets older, I'll have different genres of pins. What's Going On Right Now In My Life, Celebrities, and Fashion Trends.

Right now, I really like Glee, I've loved Harry Potter for 6 years, and I'm a younger Directioner. My mom is going to be a bridesmaid in a year in a half- she's asking me and my twin sister to make her outfits on Polyvore! If you want to follow me on there, my username is pintrestfreak. I started school August 22, 2013, and it's going pretty well so far! I've got a twin sister, and older sister, and a younger brother. I love my nephew to death, and I absolutely adore everyone in my family. I love Glee, Harry Potter, Pretty Little Liars, and My Little Pony. Now for the celebrities.

One Direction is my favorite singing group right now, and I'm really disappointed in Justin Bieber and Miley Cyrus. Justin has just done so many rude things lately, I just can't believe it. I'm never going to send him hate, or threats or anything, but spitting on your fans? Really? As for Miley Cyrus, I miss her hair so much. Not that I have any say in what she does with her hair, I just miss it. She's just been doing some really...unfavorable things lately. Blurred Lines is really popular, I'm starting to not like it, because it is getting overplayed way too much. This also happened with We Are Young, Call Me Maybe, and one more that I can't remember. At my school, way too many people did the cup song, so I hate that now.

As for fashion trends, I like to think that I started a thing in my school district for wearing mismatched knee socks. Boots (UGG Australia or imitating brands) were really popular last year, but now they aren't. Knapsnacks were popular, but they kind of died out too. I think YOLO is overused- people are using it to do stupid stuff that is going to mess up their life later on. Some people are taking it farther and using it to act, in my opinion, like no teenager needs to be acting. Let's see, what other trends are there? The infinity sign is getting overused too, I think. I don't really pay that much attention to what's new on the runway, I just observe what's popular at my school.

Now I think I should tell you a little bit about the girl behind the screen. I hate having glasses, I want contacts so bad but I can't get them until I'm in high school. My braces either come off this November or December, or next June or July. I like hot pink, and for the type of shirts I like, I like fabric that isn't super cold, but not super hot. I'm kind of sensitive about how low cut my shirts are, I prefer them not to go down past where my collarbones connect. At my school we have uniforms, so I'm making the best of that by wearing bright shoes, and plain colored t-shirts over my polo. I like neon colors, and layering colors that you might not think would look together, but I've found some nice color combos! I hate jeggings and skinny jeans, I prefer jeans, not leggings if it can be helped, that aren't constricting every move of my legs. I don't really like wool clothes, or itchy dresses. I think it's ridiculous how short girls are wearing their shorts now, the shortest pair of shorts I have is mid-thigh, and I'm self-conscious in those! Much to the teasing of my friends, I've got a huge crush on this guy at my school- a red head. My twin sister teases me (in fun, not to really be mean) about him, but I just ignore it. He transferred to my elementary school in 5th grade, I've liked him since October of that year! My friends keep telling me to go out with him, but I can't because of my parents. When I tell them that, they just say, "Oh they'll never know." Which is a complete lie, because my mom would find out probably before I got home from school that day that I had a boyfriend. They tell me it will be worth it, but when she finds out, I'll have to break up with him, I'll be grounded forever, and my phone and books will get taken away. I don't think it's really worth it. I'm a writer. I love to write, right now, I'm writing 4 stories. One is about Harry Potter's daughter, one is a Daniel Radcliffe fan fiction, one is a pointless one that I right because I get bored, and the last one is about a girl who gets into a prestigious music school. I've got a goal to get into Julliard and get a flute major someday! I'd like to thank my older sister for playing flute, because of her, I got a free, high-end flute, and just inspiration. I remember being upset with her when I was little because she wouldn't take me on band trips with her. My second and third choice for instruments were clarinet and saxophone I think, but I did flute because it was a free instrument. Intro

So this blog is just going to pretty much be about me and being a teenage girl in America today :) There's probably going to be some ranting at some point, but I'm going to talk about what I think about celebrities, fashion trends, what it's like at school, stuff like that! If you disagree, comment and tell me why, but don't be rude or hateful- there's enough of that in the world already. There isn't really any specific thing I'm going to talk about, mostly things that just come to mind. Some days I'll only do short posts, other days I'll do really long ones!
