End-Of-Year Celebration

Today at my school is the day we're having all the celebrations. We did a quiz bowl thing, and I ended up winning 1st place, getting a $10 gift from Subway. It may not seem much, but Subway is one of my favorite restaurants; that and Pita Pit.

Today, we're also going to be outside basically all day, so I plan on playing a lot of kickball, pingpong, and soccer. I have to go, ttyl!

School -_-

I'm sooooo sorry I haven't been able to post in forever! I've had a lot of drama club at school, and neither of my parents will let me use their computer. I hate it, but I gotta take what's given, right?

I'm auditioning for advanced band tomorrow, and I'm really nervous. I know MOST of the notes, and the two pieces we have to play from the lesson book are really easy.

Me and my bf have been dating for 7 months, which is apparently a really long time for our grade. There's always these voices in the back of my head whispering things to me, but I've gotten a lot better at pushing them away, thank goodness.

I get out of school June 9, and IT CAN'T COME FAST ENOUGH. I'm so excited for summer though, and I think it's going to be the best summer so far. Why? I've got two AMAZING best friends (I cut off a bad friendship recently, but I don't want to talk about right now.), a spectacular boyfriend, a Summer To-Do List, and some awesome vacation plans!

I'm going to do something (idk what it is yet) with my mom, my two sisters, my older sister's girlfriend (yes, girlfriend), and my older sister's girlfriend's little sister. I think my mom's here, so I'll check back in as soon as I can.

Hiya

I'm not sure if I've posted about this already, but I'm playing a lot of songs from Frozen for the spring ban concert at my school! Obviously it's not just me, it's my whole band. I play flute, so I have the melody a lot, but the piece was split up into like 4 parts, and in Do You Want To Build A Snowman, parts 1, 3, and 4 have all had the melody.

I'm currently obsessed with 2 songs: Everytime We Touch by Cascada, and Let It Go by Idina Menzel. Ooh, that reminds me: yesterday marked 6 months of me and my bf being together. :) I'm so happy :D. One of my friends thinks I should date one of her older brothers, but I just don't like him like that. Let's not forget the fact that I haven't had a conversation longer than 3-5 words. But even if I talked to him all the time, I don't think I would be able to like another guy, not while I have a boyfriend.

Crying

I'm so sorry I haven't posted in forever! I've just been crazy busy. To sum up what's been going on, I'll do a bullet list and then clarify ones I think need to be elaborated on.

• Cut my former best friend out of my life
• Dating my bf for 6 months this Thursday
• Playing Frozen for spring concert 
• Group of best friends has really shrunk

So, I'll start with number 1. For a few weeks, I've really been getting tired of how one of my friends has been treating me. So last Thursday, I texted her, Tbh, idk if I want to be friends anymore. Well, she doesn't understand what she did, and she's told 4 people about how horrible of a person I am. 2 people have asked me about it, one more aggressive than the other. She's really starting to make me mad, because she's making me look really bad to other people when, in reality, it's HER who's being mean. What did she do, you ask? Another list:

• Talks to me like I'm stupid
• Judges me
• Doesn't let me talk about certain things (jealous?) 
• Tbh she's kind of bossy and rude

She does that to one of my 3 best friends too, which leads me to number 4. (I'll do number 3 in a minute) I used to have maybe 5 or 6 best friends, and I told them EVERYTHING. Well, I cut one out of my circle, and the other one I kind of drifted apart from. 

Ok. Number 3. We're playing a musical piece of Frozen that is a combination of Do You Want To Build A Snowman and Let It Go. One of my best friends and I suggested LIG, and we didn't get it exactly, but close enough. 

Oh hey I forgot to add this to the list. On Good Friday, I went to church with one of my best friends, and it was awesome! I haven't been to church in a long time, but I really liked her church. I might go again this Wednesday, but I need to work it out with my parents.

Too Many Things For One Specific Title

Today at school was the jazz band assembly. I would be in jazz band, but I play flute, so I can't because the flute is not a jazz instrument. Speaking of my flute, I got the solo I'm going to play for Solo Fest! Here's a YouTube link: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hCNPJr1ZnRo This isn't me playing, it's a video I found. It's not that hard, it's just got lots of notes in different speeds and combinations than I'm used to. For the people who speak band, there's lots of accidentals and fast slurs. It sounds really pretty, I can't wait to actually get good at it! I played through the whole thing yesterday, the same day I got it. So it's not going to be that hard. 

My whole 8th and 9th period class (we have two periods of literacy) went, and one of my friends and her boyfriend sat together. He put his arm around her and everything, it was so cute! But I was so jealous ugggh. It's nothing against my bf, I just wish I wasn't so awkward.

Some Happenings

I know I haven't posted in a while, but I've been really busy recently. There's this thing called school, and it really gets in the way of life.

I've been dating my boyfriend for 4 months (5 months Mar. 24) and honestly, I'm kind of pathetic. One of my friends has been dating her bf for not even a week, and she's already kissed him and spent the night at his house. One of my other friends has been with her bf for two days at the most, and they're already making plans to go to the movies. It's been almost half a year with me, and I'm still only talking to him at lunch, on our school email accounts, and on the phone. I've been trying to work up the courage to talk to him before school, but it's not happened so far. Both of us are really shy, but compared to having a date after two days? I can't talk to my bf tomorrow, because he has jazz band (it meets before school Tuesday and Thursday) so Friday. It's not that I don't want to talk to him, because I do! It's just that I get nervous/awkward, and then I make myself look stupid.

Snow Day :)

I know I don't ordinarily post during the day, but school got cancelled. I'm not even sure why, I just know we have a day off. I've actually done some things today whaddya know! Ok so a little while ago I cleaned my room, and before that I put away some clothes. It's kinda pathetic huh?

I feel like this is the time when I should give some really inspirational advice about guys or something but honestly people, I got nothing. I have to go, I'm going to my mom's friend's house, bye!

Horrible Mood

So right now I'm in a horrible mood. I don't know why, and I've been this way for about an hour, but I am just mad at everybody, and I think I know the reason. There's this thing we're doing in science where we take home a fake baby and feed it, burp it, etc. My parents are making me do it just because my older sister had a baby at 19, and they don't want us being a teen mom. Sometimes I hate being one of the youngest, because people are imposing the consequences of others' actions on you, to "prepare you". I'm not GOING to get pregnant. I'm not GOING to be a teen mom. But it happened to my sister, so apparently it's going to happen to me if I don't learn what it's really like. As if I don't already know. I remember the nights when my nephew would wake me up at 3 am shrieking. But I'm expected to go through this with smiles and rainbows and not feel any anger or frustration at all because "this is how it'll be in real life".

I hate being a teenager, because people expect you to be in a good mood all the time, and then when you aren't they won't leave you alone trying to figure out why. Then when you tell them, you get lectured and scolded, when you never wanted to tell them but they forced you. That's basically what happens with me every time I voice my opinion. I'm only a teenager, so I don't know anything, even though I'm expected to be able to make the right decisions about everything.

This guy at my school doesn't like my boyfriend because he's a redhead, and told me he either was cheating on me or would cheat on me. I didn't know why he disliked him at first, but when I learned I was so mad I could've fought that kid then and there. I'm not going to go into detail, but long story short: I'm not talking to the guy anymore. I've been with my boyfriend for 4 months Feb. 24 and I'm not about to let some judgmental attention-seeker ruin it.

No School!

School got cancelled today, which is good and bad. Good because, duh, no school! There are at least two reasons why it's bad though:
a) the WHOLE band was going to practice in the auditorium today, for our concert and competition
b) the days we don't have school are tacked to the end of our school year, which means less summer
DO YOU SEE MY POINT PEOPLE?!?!?!?!?!?! I am also glad they cancelled because it's been super cold, and even though I don't have to walk that far to the bus, it still hurts.

2 Major Things, To Me At Least

There wasn't much of anything post-worthy, but there are a couple of things, both of which I will inform you about. Right now, i'm on my gma and gpa's computer, and I just got done tying a quilt with my gma. I'll do one more after my sister finishes, and then it'll be her turn again. I really like tying quilts, but there's not a specific reason I can pinpoint.

This coming Monday is the band concert, and the Friday after that is the band competition! I'm so excited, you literally have no idea. Asdfghjkl I can't wait!!!!!!!!! Thursday, Friday, and the day of the concert (which is after school hours) the WHOLE band is going to practice together. On the stage. It's going to be so COOL.

I need to go tie another quilt, I'll try and do another post later but idk if I'll be able to. TTLY, and ILY!

Busy Bees

So I know I do this a lot, start off by apologizing for not posting. I FEEL LIKE IT'S MY DUTY TO MY READERS THOUGH BECAUSE TO ALL MY REGULARS OUT THERE ILYSM AND I'M SORRY FOR HURTING YOUR FEELINGS.

Today is my mom's birthday, and if I did the math right, she's 44, but I'm not totally positive. I can remember the dates or things, but not like ages and stuff. Does anyone else have that problem?

Today, my literacy teacher was talking about Parvana in The Breadwinner, and she said that before all the drama, Parvana worried about normal 6th grade stuff like shopping, etc. One of my best friends, Maddy, laughed and pointed at me, and I'm honestly not ashamed to admit to it. Shopping is like the best thing ever though.

I went to the mall on Saturday with a bunch of friends, and it was awesome! I'm not going to go into huge detail about what we did, I'm just going to tell you about what I got. So at Justice (one of my favorite stores to buy accessories: their clothes clothes don't fit me now) I got two things of nail polish, a white scarf with sequins, and these pretty stick-on nails. One bottle of nail polish was pink (best color ever) and the other was neon green. They're so pretty! I wore the stick-ons to school today, and I only lost one. Since I didn't want to take them all off, I covered up the empty nail with a band-aid. Then from Rue 21, I got this really cute shirt, and there's a way interesting (to me) story about it. When I saw it on the rack, one of my friends (who might become a best friend idk yet) made me try it on, and I'm honestly glad she did. It looked AMAZING.

Plans, Plans, Plans

I have plans to go to the mall with one of my other 5 best friends on Saturday! I'm not sure if my sister will be with us, but I texted my friend a while ago asking if she would come along. I'm so glad this is happening, because I haven't been to the mall in a while. Only 3 more days! -chanting- Yes, yes, yes, yes, yes!

In science, we have the option to take home these baby dolls that are like real babies, and we have to wake up in the night and feed them and everything. It's optional, as I said above, but my mom is MAKING my sister and I do it. All I have to say is she won't be able to blame me if I fall asleep in class. We have to take it with us in public and everything too. Guess I won't be going anywhere for a few weeks! I guess there is the whole Drama Club problem, but idk. Hopefully my parents will help us out; they helped my older sister TONS when she had her baby!

I'm going to go make a phone call, so I'll try and do a post later!

I Declare War

So me and 1/5 of my best friends are having a war right now, over who;s the hotter one: Patrick Dempsey (my side, and the correct one) or Channing Tatum (the wrong side, and also my friend's side). Here's my side:

• P.D. is a race car driving along with being an actor.
• He is filming a show that is in its 10th season.
• He doesn't look like a horse.
• His hair is perfect.

So that's my argument. My friend says C.T. is hotter because he's hot. Comment and tell me what side you're on! 

I went to the orthodontist's office yesterday, and they didn't do anything except change the color. Of course, I always get the ONE lady in that WHOLE office who yanks and pulls and pushes on your teeth. It hurts to chew food :(. Oh well, I get them off "early spring" the orthodontist says. I plan on holding him to that, too.

3 Day Weekend!

School is cancelled this coming Monday, because it's a Professional Development day or whatever. I don't know much about what the teachers do there, but I do know that I only have a 4-day school week.

My sister and I are on the second-to-last episode on Season 4 of Glee, and it stinks. They only have season 4 up, so we're going to have to wait a while until they add season 5. Thankfully, we've got 3 more seasons, and there's new episodes airing on ABC in 2014. I just learned a spoiler and idk I'm just drowning in feels here. It had to do with Merek, my Grey's Anatomy OTP. OTP is basically your top ship, and I ship Merek like a harbor. THEY'RE JUST SO CUTE TOGETHER LIKE IDEK HOW TO DESCRIBE IT.

I'm watching Grey's Anatomy right now, so I'm going to sign off. TTYL!

Yes, the title of this post is gibberish, and yes I meant it. Problems? No? Good.

Nothing much happened today, except we got a freezing rain and now it's really slick. But what you would expect really, living in the Midwest? I can't wait for spring. Not summer, because then it's like a billion degrees out, but spring, when the average is sixty degrees.

So I was on Polyvore last weekend or something, and I made a set entirely of Patrick Dempsey pictures. He's my favorite actor. So there were like fifteen pictures, and then I put it in the beauty category. I've just been laughing at that for a few days now.

Really, Really Sorry!!!

I'm so sorry I haven't posted since Christmas Eve, but I've been crazy busy! So I'm not going to write down all I got for Christmas, because it'd take forever and yeah. I did get a ton of awesome stuff though!

How were your holidays? Mine were amazing, and after winter break, we had two days of school, then the weekend. To top that all off, Monday and Tuesday were cancelled! And we have the next two Mondays off woop woop!

Dec. 31, my sister and I had a bunch of friends come over for a New Year's Eve/birthday combination party. It was really fun, even though I fell asleep like, right after midnight. I would've gone to bed earlier but my friends wouldn't let me.
